11. In the Terms & Conditions it is said that, “If the Film is Selected, the Filmmaker grants a licence for IFF to screen the Film at other non-profit events or venues as a part of the competition’s prize.” What does that mean?
One of the goals of the competition is to give Indonesian independent films a wider exposure. Therefore, as a part of the competition’s prize, we will try to screen selected films at other venues and events. This licence will enable us to do just that. We will not take any profit from any of these screenings. The agreement for screenings that will generate income will be discussed further with the filmmaker.
