“Macabre” tells the tale of the most horrifying night for 6 friends. One night, a young couple of Adjie and Astrid who just delivers a baby boy, go to Bandung (West Java) with their 3 bestfriends, Jimmy, Eko dan Alam. The trip to Bandung is actually Adjie's last effort to make peace with her younger sister Ladya, whom he never keeps contacting after losing their parent, and also to say goodbye to Ladya because he will migrate to Australia to start a new life.
After some conflicts between the siblings, finally Ladya reluctantly joins the others to send Adjie and the family to the airport. But in the middle of their trip to Jakarta, a pale pretty lady accosts them, looks agitated and confused, telling them her name is Maya and that she's just got robbed. So they help taking her home and meet with a grace mysterious lady named Dara.
And in here, the deeds good cause turns to the beginning of a dark day, unaware that decision to help Maya will become a bloody catalyst ever happened in their life. Dara with unclear reason does everything to grab the baby.
