The start of The 6th Indonesian Film Festival 2011 is marked with an exclusive Red Carpet Event - Grand Opening Party at The Cube, ACMI on Friday, 19 August at 6pm.

This invitation only event will be highlighted with the opening speeches delivered by the following speakers;

Mr. Syamsul Lussa, Director of Film Affairs - Ministry of Culture and Tourism The Republic of Indonesia,
Mr. Hadi Sapto, Acting Consul General - Consulate General The Republic of Indonesia, Melbourne
Mr. Tony Sweeney, CEO/Director - Australian Centre for The Moving Image (ACMI)

This special event will be followed by a warm and elegant party attended by all the special guests from Indonesia.
