This poignant, culturally-inclined movie is about a love story between A Su, a Chinese Indonesian man and Siti, a Muslim. Problems begin to arise when A Su asks Siti to marry him, a rather simple question that demands a difficult answer from the interracial, interreligious couple. Candid, honest, and touching at times, CINtA (LOvE) attempts to recount a tale of forbidden love within a conservative society that leaves behind an old scar on its path.
